ACME training Workshop on Swift and XMM-Newton data analysis

Milan, Italy

7th-10th October 2025

 

This ACME workshop, organised in the framework of the EU-funded project 'Astrophysics Center for Multimessenger studies in Europe' (ACME), aims at providing an overview of the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory and XMM-Newton satellite, together with practical training in the analysis of the data obtained with these two facilities. A particular focus will be given to transient and multi-messenger sources. The workshop is mainly dedicated to students and early-career researchers. 

The meeting will be proposed in hybrid format. The in-person participation to the Workshop is limited to 30 people.  Registration is open and will stay open until 2025, September 15. Limited funding is available for participants. There is no registration fee for this meeting.

Please note we are not working with any specific companies to provide hotels, so please do not reply to spam emails offering accomodation for the meeting.
